The Foundation’s granting program directly impacts the Catholic community in northwest Pennsylvania awarding competitive grants in support of a variety of faith formation and Catholic education efforts. Grants awarded this spring covered a wide range of projects and new initiatives in our diocesan offices, Catholic schools, and parishes. All will have wide ranging impact in all three vicariates of the thirteen county Diocese of Erie.
The name of Ken Kane’s company, Generations Forestry, was carefully chosen to reflect the core belief and understanding that forest management decisions made today have a profound effect on future generations. You’d be hard pressed to find a profession with a closer parallel to Ken’s service as a board member of our Catholic Foundation.
