Catholic Foundation Legacy Society members were honored at a recent gathering of donors, board members, staff, and friends of the Foundation. The evening began with a prayer service led by Father Nicholas Rouch, Vicar General of the Diocese of Erie and board members Vince Assetta and Mike Bova.

Bob Crowley, board chair, then welcomed the guests by introducing the board and staff and thanking the donors. “Your presence tonight is a testament to your vision and generosity, planting seeds for the next generation of Catholics in our region. I thank you sincerely for your partnership in this important work.”

Lisa Louis, executive director, shared some highlights of the work of the Foundation since the last donor gathering. “We sometimes describe ourselves as a place where Catholic giving grows – and it has!”

Father Rouch then shared his appreciation for the multiple clergy health and welfare endowments, and how annual distributions assist our retired clergy and help keep active clergy healthy, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Finally, Lisa Louis welcomed our newest Legacy Society members:

  • Christine and Warren Beaver
  • Yvonne Gralak
  • Reverend Rocco Tito (posthumously)
