Ken Kane: Steward of the Forest and More
The name of Ken Kane’s company, Generations Forestry, was carefully chosen to reflect the core belief and understanding that forest management decisions made today have a profound effect on future generations. You’d be hard pressed to find a profession with a closer parallel to Ken’s service as a board member of our Catholic Foundation.
“The Catholic Foundation is important for the sustainability of the church,” Ken explains when asked why he makes time to serve on its board. “We all have to do what we can to maintain the fundamentals of the faith.”
A lifelong member of Saint Callistus Parish in Kane, Ken’s work -- with vision, practicality and faith -- in forests across Pennsylvania and New York was featured in the June 2021 Diocese of Erie’s Faith Magazine. Click below to read more about Ken's faith at work.
